Abstract

The youth problems and its origins occurring in the limits of the search of cultural identity which accelerates with parallel to social changes in Turkey is examined in this article in terms of education. There are two major approaches to explain the problems of youth education. Basis of the Turkish youth education can be explained by having two opposite approaches: memorization of input and creative learning. The westernization of Turkey without capturing the peculiarities of the process mentally, causes some cultural changes which also lead alienation and cultural division and this kind of a processes considered to be are of the main problems of youth education.
