ADOPTION GRASHA – RIECHMANN STUDENT LEARNING STYLE SURVEY INTO THE TURKISH

Abstract

Grasha – Riechmann learning style survey (GRSLSS) is an instrument for defines students’ learning style especially in cooperative learning and e-campus applications. Aim of this study is adopt GRSLSS into the Turkish. GRSLSS is translated into the Turkish by the five specialists who are from different subject areas such as educational technology, foreign language, and psychological counseling and guidance. Work group is consisted of 239 students who were randomly selected from students of Ankara University, Educational Sciences Faculty. Scale’s calculated Cronbach Alpha coefficient is .83 Minimums, maximums, means, and standard deviations defined for each style. The Turkish version of the GRSLSS needs to be improved in larger groups.
